30 & Over Prodigy Sports Network League – Rules & Expectations
Thank you for committing to the Prodigy Sports Network League. We are excited for your participation and look forward to a competitive and enjoyable season!
Age & Eligibility
– All players must be 29 years of age or older by the start of the league. No exceptions.
– Coaches are responsible for verifying their players’ eligibility.
– Any team that uses an ineligible player will automatically forfeit all games in which that player participated.
– All players must complete and sign a league waiver form before playing.
Game Time & Forfeits
– Start time = Game time. Please arrive early and be ready to play.
– A 5-minute grace period is allowed between scheduled games.
– Technical fouls: Teams will be assessed two (2) technical free throws per minute until the 10-minute forfeit mark.
– A forfeit is declared 10 minutes after the scheduled start if a team cannot begin.
– Teams may begin a game with 4 players minimum.
Uniforms & Conduct
– All players must wear a numbered jersey. Handwritten or taped-on numbers are not permitted.
– Any player receiving two (2) technical fouls in the same game will be ejected.
– Threats, verbal abuse, or physical altercations will result in immediate ejection and possible removal from the league.
– This is a family-friendly environment — treat referees, opponents, and spectators with respect.
Game Play Rules
– Ball Advancement: Permitted only during a team’s timeouts.
– 8-second half-court rule is in effect.
– 24-second shot clock is enforced on all possessions.
– Team fouls: Two (2) free throws awarded beginning with the 5th team foul each quarter.
– Personal fouls: Players foul out after six (6) fouls.
– Intentional off-ball fouls: Result in 1 free throw plus possession.
– Lane violation: The 3-second violation applies to the outer lane around the free-throw area.
– Double fouls and held balls result in alternating possession.
Timeouts & Overtime
– Timeouts: 2 per half.
– Overtime: First overtime is 2 minutes. Each additional overtime is 1 minute.
– Game Clock:
– 10-minute running clock per quarter.
– Clock stops only during the final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter.
Team & Player Restrictions
– Once a player has played for one team, he may not switch or play for another team in the same season.
– If a player is found playing on a second team, that team will forfeit automatically.
Code of Conduct Reminder
– Threatening or attempting physical harm toward referees, players, or spectators will result in immediate ejection and potential removal from the league.
– Aggressive or disrespectful language toward referees will not be tolerated.
– The league is designed to be a safe, family-friendly, and respectful space. Be kind — on and off the court!

Register your team today for the upcoming 16 Week league season! The registration fee is $1,100.00 per team, which covers entry into the league, scheduling, venue usage, and operational costs.
Team Registration – $1,100.00
This one-time payment registers your team for the full 16 (WEEK) league season beginning September 7th. If you are planning to pay a deposit of 550.00, please contact US @ psnmcnear1@gmail.com. Please note that the rest is due by the mind-season tourney, or the team will forfeit their rights to complete the tourney. The fee includes:
- Guaranteed spot in the league
- Official scheduling and placement in your division
- Access to all regular season games
- Use of the league venue and facilities
⚠️ Important: The $1,100.00 registration fee is non-refundable. Please confirm your team’s commitment before completing registration. This ensures fairness and allows the league to properly plan divisions, schedules, and resources. Spaces are limited, so secure your spot early and guarantee your team’s participation this season.
FYI – Please include your teams name, captain and at least 3 persons, you would like to potentially be a part of the All-Star Game. 2 will play, while 1 will be a backup, in case 1 person cannot show.
